DEDICATION
The Network team is dedicating the 2007 NABA 38+ Tournament to two fallen heroes.
Steve Rosenberg

June 19, 2006 - It was a very sad day for Atlanta, for Georgia and the MSBL. We have lost a close friend, our founding father, and a wonderful person. On the morning of June 19, 2006, Steve Rosenburg passed away.
Although the exact cause is not known, he essentially had complications from his cancer and lung problems. Please keep Steve, his family and friends in your prayers.
As Dennis Tirado of the 38+ MSBL said: Farewell Steve - you made your mark . . . you will be missed!
A tribute patch has been designed and will be worn over the heart on all the Network uniforms.

Thank you from the depths of our hearts for the support from the MSBL members during Steve's illness and subsequent passing. The outpouring of true affection for him by his baseball family has been both overwhelming and awe-inspiring. Seeing all of you in jerseys at his funeral is a sight we won't soon forget or fail to appreciate. We appreciate too your idea to remember Steve with a commemorative patch for your uniforms. Steve would be both touched and humbled by such a warm and fitting gesture.
Many of you may already know that Steve had recently become involved in a local charitable organization called The North Metro Miracle League which helps disabled children and adults enjoy playing sports. He worked with Richard Kimberly specifically with the baseball program. We're asking that any who wish to make a charitable contribution, do so in his memory to the NMML. One of the great things about this organization that was so close to Steve's heart is that it is 100% volunteer so all of the money donated stays right here in the metro Atlanta area.

Manny Vargas

Former Atlanta Bulls star player passed away from heart failure on August 29th, 2007 at the early age of 39. Manny was to be a member of the Network team until he was struck down by this terrible disease over the summer. Manny's big laugh and even bigger swing will be missed by all that knew him. He left a loving fiance' Tammy and a fantastic son in Alex, 12. Network will also honor Manny Vargas by hanging his #2 jersey in the dugout every game out in Phoenix.
