Currently, ClearVision Studios, President and Senior Technical Producer,
Michael has directed and produced 100’s of high definition videos from the
umbrella of ClearVision Studios. Michael’s passion for technology has
allowed ClearVision Studios to stay on the leading edge of today’s digital
film technology by developing one of the first Digital 35mm Direct-to-Disk
Capturing Systems available for Feature Film work. Michael designed the
systems to be part of the VisionCam series produced by ClearVision Studios.
Known as DirectVision the system that not only saves time and money
throughout the entire production, but it provides instant dailies to the
set, which guarantees that all shots are captured as the director intended
as well helps keep the production on or ahead of schedule.
Before starting ClearVision Studios, Michael created, from the ground up, a
successful national boating magazine, known today as Extreme Boats Magazine.
The magazine’s growth spawned several divisions, and one that Michael
personally developed and took passion in, was the video division. Michael’s
hands-on approach to the capturing and editing of all the video footage to
be used for the DVD’s, Virtual Tours and Video Stories gave readers an
experience that was never available from just a printed magazine.
After running the magazine for several years and seeing it through its
infancy Michael sold the company to further pursue his passion of video and
editing and to ultimately tackle the new high definition video world
emerging as a viable medium for feature film work. Prior to starting the
magazine, Michael pioneered a successful chain of wireless retail stores in
the Phoenix valley, known today as Bullseye Wireless, one of the valley’s
largest wireless technology outlets.
